Call out for actors for Theatr Iolo’s next production, The Welsh Dragon

Theatr Iolo are seeking five performers for an upcoming tour of The Welsh Dragon, written by Kyle Lima and directed by Ewa Dina. Designed by Kyle Legall, Lighting Design by Katy Morison and Composed by Eadyth Crawford.

For ages 7-13 year olds, The Welsh Dragon features music, rap, and a historical twist. This bold new play for children explores Britain’s black ancestry, challenging us to question the stories that have been handed down from generation to generation. You can find out more about the show here; https://www.theatriolo.com/welsh-dragon-1

We are looking to hear from previous Theatr Iolo performers as well as new performers that we have not worked with before. However, all performers need to be based in Cardiff or the South East Wales region.

Please express interest by sending a CV and photo to admin@theatriolo.com and/or a short video of no more than 3 mins introducing yourself and why you are interested in the project. Application deadline 10am on Monday 8th July.
