Syrian Twmpath

The Jones Collective worked with a Syrian family to develop and explore a new theatre show for families, and  conducted a series of interviews with their teenage daughter.

To celebrate the end of the first stage of Research and Development, the local community were invited to an evening of dancing and eating at The Welfare, Ystradgynlais.

The  family friendly evening included a Twmpath (similar to a Scottish Ceilidh) and an opportunity to learn traditional Syrian dancing accompanied by live music.
